Wounded Warrior Project

To all NEDC Members, NIAAA State Liaisons and State Presidents,

The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association has selected the Wounded Warrior
Project as the 2019 Initiative to help benefit the men and woman of the Wounded Warrior Project.
WWP offers 20 holistic programs to wounded service members and their caregivers completely free of
charge and 100% of the funds raised through this event go directly to Wounded Warrior Project to
    help fuel these programs.

The National Initiative and Assistance Network Committee has set a goal of at least $5 per NIAAA
member totaling $56,740.00 nationally. Working together as an association driven to serve, please join
us in making a difference with our wounded warriors by encouraging all members of your state to
contribute and exceed your goal. To view your States’ 2019 goal click here.

To participate in the 2019 NIAAA Initiative, go to https://bit.ly/2WcK6oh and click on Donate on the
right side of the page. It will direct you to select an amount to donate and then click on Next to
go to the payment page. Once you have filled out the page and selected your respective state, it will
credit your donation to your state and we will keep a running total of how all our states are doing.
A bit of healthy competition between states and sections will only help the WWP even more.

If you would like a wounded warrior representative to visit a state function to say a few words
please send this form (click here) to ehalloran@woundedwarriorproject.org.

There are several ways that you can reach your state goal, which is listed below. Here are a few

    • Add the $5.00 to your state conference registration
    • Have a collection for the WWP during your state conference
    • Collect donations at your state athletic director’s association’s board meetings
    • You can donate as a state association and also provide the link to individual schools,
      coaches, athletes and parents.
